I am getting the 0xc000007b error code when trying to use my sims 4 game.
I had not used my computer for a few months and this is the only game I use it for. When starting up some auto updates happened to the game and since then whenever I try to start the game the error occurs.
I have tried to repair the game but after I press the repair button and it goes through the steps a different error occurs; the VC++ runtime redistributor package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (23)
I looked in youtube and a video recommended installing this package; aio-runtimes_v2.1.6_WinXP.7z and restarting my computer for a fix but it has not fixed anything.
My computer is a Windows 7 Home Premium and I tried to run all the latest Windows updates to see if that will help but I am also getting an error and can't update either. The error is 80244019.
Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can try to fix the problem?
